mXDS is a small dry running alternative to oil sealed rotary vane pumps and diaphragm pumps of similar capacity, offering a top speed of 3m3h-1and provides an ultimate vacuum of 0.1 mbar.
The highly mobile, compact and lightweight mXDS weighs just under 8kg and features a custom-made carrying handle.
For system manufacturers, the pump can usually be mounted horizontally or vertically. To simplify connection, the inlet can be aligned vertically or horizontally using a push-fit alternative available as an accessory.
Closes the performance gap in Edwards' small dry pump portfolio
These compact scroll pumps come standard with a gas ballast function built into the design for water vapor handling and an exhaust valve like the larger nXDS.
They typically have lower energy requirements compared to pumps of similar capacity, making them a good choice for energy savings and a lower carbon footprint.
Optimized fan cooling helps reduce noise, ensuring quieter operation and a comfortable working environment. Because the pumps are oil-free and require no oil to be refilled, replaced or disposed of, they are an environmentally friendly option.
The mXDS3 is offered as standard or with an inlet shutoff solenoid for enhanced system protection. The mXDS3s also comes with an exhaust silencer/filter accessory.
