The Edwards Polycold® MaxCool Cryochillers – Closed-Process Cryogenic Cooling Systems
The Edwards Polycold® MaxCool cryochillers are closed-process cryogenic cooling systems that effectively capture water vapor, which makes up 65% to 95% of residual gases in high-vacuum systems. These cryochillers trap water vapor and other condensable substances by freezing them onto a cold surface, such as a cryocoil or Chevron baffle. MaxCool cryochillers are also used for cooling and heating objects, such as electrostatic chucks in semiconductor wafer production. Our range of models provides 2,000, 2,500, or 4,000 watts of cooling power.
